Post-Secondary Employment Outcomes

Post-Secondary Employment Outcomes (PSEO) are experimental tabulations developed by the US Census Bureau that provide earnings and employment outcomes for college and university graduates by degree level, degree major, and post-secondary institutions. It is in "beta" currently and is labeled as "experimental data" by the Census Bureau.

PSEO statistics are created in a similar way to the state-based matching systems (universal coverage of post-secondary graduate population, longitudinal information on earnings and employment after graduation) but with an important advantage - the ability to follow students across state lines, while also using data sources that aim to represent the entire student graduate population of an institution.

Currently, only 11 states participate in providing data on their graduates, with varying degrees of graduate coverage. Louisiana is on the higher end of graduates represented in the data at 74%.
